Organizations team up to deliver new entrepreneurial education series to Westmoreland County Murrysville, PA
Today, The Ahfis Creative Coworking announced that they have formed a new partnership with Idea Foundry, furthering their commitment to building a home for freelancers, telecommuters, and entrepreneurs of Murrysville and greater Westmoreland County. A new educational event series dubbed, “The Watercooler Chats,” will take place on the second Thursday of every month, beginning July 11 from 4:30-6:00pm, at The Ahfis in Murrysville. These events, which are free and open to the public, will cover a variety of business topics such as marketing through Facebook and Google, navigating business growth fundraising, and maintaining one’s mental health as a freelancer or telecommuter. “We’re so excited to work with Idea Foundry to bring this event series to The Ahfis,” said Deb Cavrak, Co-founder of The Ahfis. “Idea Foundry has helped entrepreneurs grow their businesses for a long time and now we get to pass on some of that knowledge to area residents. Whether you are from Murrysville, Monroeville, Penn-Township or anywhere else, all are welcome.”
Positive Community Impact
Since opening the doors to The Ahfis in May, sisters and cofounders Deb and Sue Cavrak have been engraining themselves in the fabric of the Murrysville community with Midweek Mindfulness sessions, afternoon networking gatherings, and CPR classes. The Watercooler Chats provide the latest example of the value that The Ahfis delivers to its members and the Westmoreland community.
“Deb and Sue are really passionate about making sure the events have something for everyone and we are really looking forward to partnering with them to do that,” said Chris Dixon, Entrepreneurial Program Manager, Idea Foundry. “This is just such a cool space and I think a perfect location for something like this.”
